1. Purpose
Bollywar is a community for discussing Bollywood and other Indian entertainment, comparing actors and movies, and appreciating stars. These Content Policies explain what users may publish on the platform. They apply to battles, comments, likes, Fan Wall notes, usernames, profile content, and other user-submitted material. Our goal is to encourage entertaining discussions without allowing harassment, abuse, or harmful content.2. Battles
Users can create battles comparing two actors or two movies by selecting the available options and submitting a question. All battles must follow these requirements:- The battle question must contain fewer than 150 characters.
- The selected actors or movies must match the intended comparison.
- The question must be relevant to the selected options.
- Battles must not contain threats, harassment, hate speech, or unlawful material.
- Users must not create misleading battles intended to impersonate official announcements or deceive others.
- Duplicate, spam, irrelevant, or deliberately disruptive battles may be removed.
3. Comments and Likes
Users may engage with battles through comments and likes. Comments must remain relevant and respectful. Users must not use comments to:- Attack, threaten, or intimidate another user.
- Harass actors, filmmakers, production staff, or other individuals.
- Publish personal information without authorization.
- Spread malicious rumours or present unverified allegations as established facts.
- Promote spam, scams, or unrelated commercial content.
- Encourage violence, discrimination, or unlawful activity.
4. Fan Wall
The Fan Wall allows users to share appreciation notes for their favourite stars.- Each note must contain fewer than 250 characters.
- Notes should focus on appreciation, admiration, memorable performances, or positive messages.
- Notes must not contain harassment, threats, hateful content, explicit sexual content, or defamatory allegations.
- Users must not impersonate a celebrity or claim that a star has personally responded to or endorsed their note without a legitimate basis.
- Repeated, automated, or irrelevant submissions may be treated as spam.
5. Prohibited Content
The following content is not permitted on Bollywar: Harassment and Hate: Content that threatens, bullies, dehumanizes, or promotes hatred or violence against individuals or groups. Defamation and False Claims: Content that makes harmful, unsupported factual allegations about a real person or organization. Privacy Violations: Doxxing, publishing private contact details, sharing confidential information, or exposing personal information without proper authorization. Sexual Exploitation: Content involving sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate material, or any sexual content involving minors. Violence and Threats: Credible threats, encouragement of violence, or content intended to intimidate others. Impersonation and Deception: Fake celebrity accounts, fraudulent claims of official affiliation, deceptive endorsements, or misleading announcements. Spam and Manipulation: Automated posting, repetitive content, artificial vote manipulation, scams, phishing, and malicious links. Intellectual Property Violations: Content that infringes copyright, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights. Illegal Content: Content that violates applicable laws or facilitates unlawful activity. We may also restrict content that undermines the platform’s purpose or creates a significant risk to users.6. Intellectual Property
Users must only submit material they have the right to use. Do not upload, reproduce, or distribute copyrighted images, text, videos, or other material without the necessary permission or a valid legal basis. Names, images, and information relating to stars and movies may be sourced from TMDB or other third-party sources. Bollywar does not claim ownership of third-party materials merely because they appear on the platform.7. Reporting Content
If you believe content violates these policies, please contact contact@bollywar.com with:- A link or clear identification of the relevant content.
- A brief explanation of the suspected violation.
- Any relevant supporting information.
8. Moderation and Enforcement
Bollywar may review reported content and take appropriate action, including:- Removing or restricting content.
- Disabling commenting or other features where necessary.
- Warning users.
- Temporarily restricting accounts.
- Suspending or permanently terminating accounts in serious or repeated cases.
- Taking further action where required by law.
9. Appeals and Review
If you believe your content was removed or your account was restricted in error, you may request a review by emailing contact@bollywar.com. Include the relevant content or account details and explain why you believe the decision should be reconsidered. We will review requests where appropriate, subject to operational constraints and legal obligations.10. Policy Updates
